Take Time to Breathe

Breathing is an involuntary act, we do it without thinking.  We often carry a lot of tension in our bodies without even realizing.

Take 5 minutes now and really focus on your breathing and any tension in your body.  What do you notice?  Can you feel any tension?  Just pause and really focus on your body; take a big breath in through your nose for 5 counts, filling up your belly and exhale again through your nose for 5 counts, releasing any tension from your body.

Do this every day up to 3 times a day – really spend this time focusing on you and your body.

After all you only get one body – look after it, like it looks after you!
